#1STCHARITYVISITIN2025🥳*Sunday 9th February
Hello Good People & Happy New Year
I hope that we are all well and settling into the new year.
We are to have our first charity visit in early February.
We have decided that to start us off , we will revisit a home that we visited in April last year.
On Sunday 9th February we would like to revisit Msamaria Mwema Children's Home.
The home is located in Kibichiku , Kabete in Kiambu County.
Msamaria Mwema Children's home was started in 2007 by Peter Chege and his wife Winnie. Peter had a vision of helping orphans since his youth, which he shared with Winnie way before their marriage. They started off with just three children.
The home has a capacity of 40 kids, but at the moment , they have 36 children, both boys and girls. The youngest child is 4 years old.
They take in orphans and neglected kids brought in by the community and the children's office.
The children attend Kibichiku primary and secondary school. Two kids have been sponsored to study at a nearby private school. They also have some in university and college.
The home does not have donors & solely relies on well wishers like us ♥️.
It is my hope that we will have many of us supporting this event and also attending 🙏🏼
