This is our third Year having a Multiple Sclerosis flag raising ceremony and proclamation. In the past it was during the week. So this time, we thought we would have it on the weekend allowing more people to attend.
Multiple Sclerosis is known as the invisible disease to a lot ! You can't see it , but to the people who live with it and battle with what comes with it, it's no joke!
So by having the flag raising and having people attend , it gives awareness not only to the disease but to the people in our city who have MS . I am one of them. There are so many others. I am asking all the miramichier's out there, if you have ms or have family, friends that are affected by multiple sclerosis, please come down to the park on the square by the flag pole to show support and awareness of MS
