Mobile Recreation Unit (MRU) Block Parties are coming to your neighborhood this summer!Families, friends, neighbors, all are invited and there is zero cost to come out and enjoy!
The fun movable unit includes an inflatable water slide, portable basketball hoops, tricycles, hula hoops, arts and crafts supplies, and an assortment of other outdoor recreational equipment. Snacks are available while they last.
There will be splashing, make sure you dress for water related activities. Bring a towel, bring your friends and family!
MRU Block Parties will happen on Fridays, 6 to 8 p.m. at the following locations/dates:
June 7
Morningside Park (1207 S. Central Ave.)
June 28
Central Avenue Park (25 N. Central Ave.)
July 12
Monte Bella Trails Park (2525 W. Alton Gloor Blvd.)
August 9
Garfield Park (1640 E. Garfield St.)
