On Saturday 01/11/25 we will be hosting our first ever MINECRAFT EVENT at MR. Drew’s Education Center in the Lewiston Mall.Because of this award-winning game, children and adults have learned of things such as axolotls or obsidian but in real life have never seen them and now here is your opportunity to do so without the risk of running into Creepers or Endermen!
In honor of the game, we will be offering an interactive resource gathering and card trading event similar to tasks found in game and with some mining skills, you may be able to find specimens in our very own PrisSonny Mine to take home with you, along with a 3D printed token for participating.
We also will have specimens of many of the minerals you can find in the game on display and to learn more about their real life applications.
We will be explaining how axolotl are extinct in the wild but are plentiful in captivity and what can be done to change that.
Admission is $10 per person and we are open 10am to 4pm and we close at 5pm.
So join us for fun, exploration and edutainment of the best kind as we tie in our real world with the virtual world of Minecraft!
