Mr. and Miss Apollo New Orleans 2026 Competition "Once Upon A Time..."

Who will be the next Mr. and Miss Apollo New Orleans? We will all find out on Saturday, August 16, 2025, as the Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans presents its competition with the theme of "Once Upon A Time..."
The Mr. and Miss Apollo program is one of the ways the Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans supports both new and established performers/artists in the community. In addition to the titles of Mr. and Miss Apollo New Orleans that are awarded each year, those title holders go on to participate in the Mr. and Miss National Apollo program, which is organized in collaboration with all other Apollo Krewes.

Entries are being accepted now and will be accepted until August 10, 2025, or when the maximum number of contestants is reached. Don't wait if you are interested in competing; secure your spot by registering now!
Audience members certainly are welcome the night of the competition, and the cover is only $5. A limited number of reserved tables/seats also will be available. Message us for details.
Other brief details about the competition include:
-Competitors will participate in presentation (a costume depicting the theme of "Once Upon A Time..."), evening/formal wear, on-state question and answer, and talent.
-Entry fee for competitors is $100.
-Entries are limited to the first 10 contenders to register (and pay entry fees).
-Winners will represent Apollo New Orleans in the Mr. and Miss National Apollo competition in Lafayette in November 2025 (date to be announced), as well as in a variety of other events in the New Orleans area.
-The prize package includes a custom medallion for Mr. Apollo; a crown for Miss Apollo; custom pins from Dynasty Creations for both winners; sashes; paid entry fees for Mr. and Miss National Apollo competition; $500 cash prize to each winner; and more.
