Join us at our monthly Member Meeting for a demonstration in oils by Clinton Broyles. Born in McAllen, Texas, Clinton Broyles was captivated by cartooning as a young boy but his artistic path took a transformative turn at 15 when he was introduced to the work of renowned painter Dalhart Windberg. Windberg became both a mentor & a guiding influence, shaping Broyles’ approach to art & deepening his appreciation for classical techniques. Broyles’ work reflects his interest in history, focusing on scenes from everyday life in bygone eras. His paintings are characterized by detailed compositions that highlight the aesthetics of the past while maintaining a contemporary and optimistic perspective.
