Join CMA curator Daniel Marcus and members of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra for an afternoon of music and art. In anticipation of the Symphony’s forthcoming performance of Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Marcus will discuss the collaborative work of sculptor Isamu Noguchi and dancer Martha Graham, whose creative partnership—including set design and choreography for the 1944 premiere of Appalachian Spring—changed the shape of modern dance. Marcus’s lecture will be followed by a live performance by Columbus Symphony musicians.Tickets are $5 for members, $15 for nonmembers.
