Made possible by the Manitou Arts and Cultural Heritage Grant, this special concert brings an intimate evening of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet to the heart of Manitou Springs. Clarinetist Sergei Vassiliev joins his colleagues of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Strings Section—Zachary Ragent (violin), Evan De Long (violin), Shauna Smith (viola), and Andy Kolb (cello)—for one of the most beloved works in the chamber repertoire.
Sergei is especially excited to share this masterpiece on the new clarinet he selected this summer in Paris. With its warmth, lyricism, and brilliance, Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet promises an unforgettable night of music in a truly unique setting.
