• Updating the City of Kingston Community Safety & Well Being Plan to include GBV/IPV; Discuss the priority focuses

o Education, training and collaboration/info sharing

o Housing, family and ensuring Indigenous culturally supportive services

o Practicalities/timeline/role of KFACC

• Developing a GBV service hub building from the 2009 “One Stop Shop” business case

o Challenges and strategies for addressing them

o Managing confidentiality in the context of duty to report and mandatory charging

o Creating a survivor-centred and trauma-informed approach across all services

o Different leadership models, including location options

o Funding

• Building on Bill 173

o What can people do at the community level to support the intent of Bill 173, whether or not it passes?

• Risk management/Information sharing

o Recommendation 41: develop a common approach to risk management by using a common risk assessment tool across agencies in the community

o Recommendation 43: clarify and enhance the use of high-risk committees/ situation tables, etc.

o Recommendation 78: Now that the Information and Privacy Commissioner has completed this recommendation by developing a plain language tool about privacy, confidentiality and public safety, how can the community educate itself on the tool to increase effective information sharing?

• Systemic advocacy

o How can we advocate for systemic change starting at the community level?

o Focus on inquest recommendation 29 (professional education for justice sector partners), recommendation 46 (Clare’s Law) and recommendation 58 (review of mandatory charging)
