Get to experience moving energy in your body, in a flowing sequence from dance to yoga, breathwork and meditation, inspired by tantra yoga.
After a nice summer break, let's get our energy moving and prepare for a new season with this special practice!
So often modern yoga classes are resumed to poses and are quite short in duration, yet traditionally, yoga, together with breathwork, was a practice aimed to deepen the quality of meditation by stretching and activating the body so that energy can flow unobstructed.
Inspired by our training in tantra yoga as well as traditional hatha yoga, we bring forth a holistic approach designed to allow energy to move by bringing together techniques which are often practiced separately: dance, asanas, and breathwork, followed by an integration meditation and closed by a sharing circle.
We will break the ice through conscious movement through the space. Music will guide us as we connect to ourselves and each other, and dance the two polarities in each of us - yin and yang, shakti and shiva, receptiveness and activeness.
Having activated these energies and warmed up the body, we will engage into an asana series designed to balance active and passive poses, opening the body up further.
Next, a short (max.15 minute) connected breathwork session will follow, which will unlock the energy stored in us and open us up to deep processes which we will be able to integrate through a meditation session.
We will end this experience with a group sharing session .
