The City of Gold Coast Movies Under the Stars program is free, family-friendly fun on offer from September 2025 through to April 2026 right across the city.
Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic or take advantage of delicious food options available in the local area.
*** TICKETS NOT REQUIRED – JUST SHOW UP! ***
Tickets are not required, however you can ‘reserve a spot’ on Eventbrite to sign up for event updates/reminders.
- Event date: Saturday, 14 February 2026
- Location: Parkwood Sharks Rugby League Club, Parkwood
- Event starts at 5.00pm with kids' activities, face painting, and mouth-watering eats from onsite food trucks. 😋
- Then stay for the movie starting at 7.00pm!
Movie: How To Train your Dragon (2025)
On the rugged isle of Berk, a Viking boy named Hiccup defies centuries of tradition by befriending a dragon named Toothless. However, when an ancient threat emerges that endangers both species, Hiccup's friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.
