We’re excited to share a new community offering for the winter season: a three-part documentary film series hosted at the Knoxville Public Library. Each event includes a free screening followed by an optional, relaxed community conversation.The series is called Movies That Move Us, and all events are free and open to the public. Popcorn is on us!
Here’s the lineup:
🎬 January 6 — Inequality For All
A clear, compelling look at the growing income gap in America and how it affects families and communities.
🎬 February 3 — Before the Flood
Leonardo DiCaprio explores the global impacts of climate change and the choices we face for our shared future.
🎬 March 3 — Backpack Full of Cash
A deep dive into the impact of privatization on public schools—and what it means for communities like ours.
All events begin at 6:00 p.m.
