After Us the Flood (2024) is a sci-fi-tinged drama film with environmental themes. The film raises an important and topical issue about the state of the environment and the importance of protecting it. Professor Maria Ojala studies how young people relate to, and learn about, sustainability issues. She has focused on hope, worry, coping, climate-change engagement, mental wellbeing, and implications for education and climate-change communication.
