Join us for a community screening of Bring Them Home, a powerful documentary about the movement to restore buffalo to their homelands - and the Indigenous leadership, culture, and community healing at the heart of that work.
About the film:
Bring Them Home (Aiskótáhkapiyaaya) follows Blackfoot/Blackfeet leaders working to re-establish a wild buffalo (iinnii) herd on their ancestral territory - reviving ecosystems, culture, and community health after near-extirpation a century ago. Directed by Blackfeet siblings Ivan & Ivy MacDonald with Daniel Glick, and executive produced and narrated by Lily Gladstone (Blackfeet/Nez Perce), the film runs ~85 minutes. It won the 2024 Big Sky Award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and has also been recognized with Best Documentary Feature (MINT Film Festival) and the Kumeyaay Award (San Diego International Film Festival).
