Forget about trekking to the theater for your movie fix and head to Market Square Park for a free outdoor screening of Rear Window [PG]. The story of a recuperating news photographer who believes he has witnessed a M**der. Confined to a wheelchair after an accident, he spends his time watching the occupants of neighboring apartments through a telephoto lens and binoculars and becomes convinced that a M**der has taken place.Lawn chairs and blankets are highly recommended. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome. Outside alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the park; however, beer and wine are sold at Niko Niko's on-site along with delicious Greek and American food.
Parking:
-FREE on-street parking after 6 pm.
-Visit downtownhoustonparking.org for an interactive map which shows all garages, surface lots and on-street parking available in the area.
NEW GUIDELINES:
*Physical distancing is encouraged at all times (at least 6-feet distance from others not in your group).
*Masks must be worn at all times except when you’re eating or drinking.
