The great state of Florida boasts many ridiculous B movies, but George McCowan's 1972 Frogs tops them all. When wildlife photographer Pickett Smith explores the swamps around the Crockett family's island estate, he finds more than just photogenic critters. As a mysterious plague of frogs – also snakes, lizards, spiders, and surprisingly creepy butterflies – surrounds the Crockett house, one can't help if wonder whether they are plotting some kind of reptilian revenge.
Filmed on location in Walton County's Eden Gardens State Park and premiering in Panama City, Frogs is a Florida original. Come enjoy it with us!
Doors open at 6:30pm, screening begins at 7pm. Be sure to come early to check out our display of live creepy critters, gathered in honor of the film! This event is free and open to the public, but we encourage you to register as space in the Museum is limited.
