My Octopus Teacher is a 2020 Netflix documentary film directed by Pippa Ehrlich and James Reed, which documents a year spent by filmmaker Craig Foster forging a relationship with a wild common octopus in a South African kelp forrest. At the 93rd Acadamey Awards it won the award for Best Documentary Feature.
Doors will open at 6:15 pm and the movie will begin at 7:00 pm followed by a discussion. Come early for popcorn and to save your seat. We look forward to seeing you!
