Join us for a one-night-only screening of the documentary, Sono Lino.
Celebrated globally as a master of traditional Venetian glass techniques, Lino holds a special place in the Museum’s heart. As a teacher, he’s had an extraordinary impact on contemporary glass, and his sculptures are lauded for their complexity, elegance, and visual poetry.
The documentary Sono Lino tells the story of Lino Tagliapietra, one of the world’s greatest artists as seen through the eyes of renowned glass artists like Dale Chihuly, Dante Marioni, Nancy Callan, John Kiley, Dave Walters, and Jen Elek—many of whom were integral members of his team.
Enjoy a rare opportunity to hear directly from the film’s director and producer, Jacob Patrick. During this exclusive post-screening Q&A session, the audience will gain a behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s most gifted and generous glass luminaries.
