SustainaBites is proud to bring the acclaimed documentary “Food For Thought” to Alton—a film that blends humour, heart, and hope to explore how everyday food choices help build a healthier, more sustainable future. We’ll be joined by Dr Shireen Kassam, Consultant Haematologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College Hospital, for a lively discussion on how small shifts in our food systems can make a big difference—for people and planet alike.
🎟️ Everyone’s welcome! We’ve designed our tiered ticket system to keep the event accessible to all. Tickets are £12 for waged attendees and £6 for unwaged, with every penny going toward covering event costs—no profit, just community. Each ticket includes a delicious, home-cooked meal made with sustainability in mind. Please choose the ticket tier that best reflects your circumstances—no questions asked.
The venue is licensed, so feel free to bring your own alcohol. Soft drinks, tea and coffee will also be available.
Let’s explore how what’s on our plates can shape a better tomorrow—without guilt, jargon, or pressure. Just good food, good company, and fresh inspiration!
