✨ This dance therapy workshop offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself through the transformative power of movement. Rooted in the integration of dance, movement, and psychology, the workshop invites participants to explore self-expression, somatic release, and the deep connection between mind, body, and soul. Here, movement is not about performance - it’s about feeling, experiencing, and discovering. 👉 No prior dance experience is required; you are welcome exactly as you are. In each session, we focus on one or two key aspects of dance therapy, such as embodying present-moment feelings, finding new ways to move from our inner world through the Authentic Movement method, or exploring how our emotional states are reflected in the body. Movement becomes a language that reveals parts of ourselves we may not have noticed before. With movement comes the potential for release, insight, and a deeper connection to our true essence.
💖 With over five years of experience guiding improvisation classes and three years exploring the dance therapy field, Shani has witnessed the profound capacity of movement to unlock joy, self-awareness, and emotional freedom. Her journey through improvisation as a dancer led her to immerse herself in academic studies of movement therapy, driven by a deep love for the mind-body connection.
💃 This workshop is a chance to move freely, feel deeply, and discover the power that already lives within you. Through movement, we open the door to joy, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of ourselves. We will combine writing and other methods of art to enrich the experience.
