MOVEMENT AS ......? 9th International Systemic Practice and Research School

"What does Movement as ...... mean?" we hear you ask! Well, many things. The organising committee thinks of systemic practice as movement - and movement happens in many other parts of our lives. Walking, talking, writing, being in thought or in silence, cooking, exercise, and dancing all are forms of movement. How and what does systemic teaching, training, supervision, and research mean to you in Movement as.....?

As we talked, reflected, and then spoke more about Movement…… we realised there are multiple connotations, for example, on the climate, environment, and geography. Our bodies and voices, movement limitations from place to place in our environments, and inanimacy and technology. This theme is compelling, encompassing the constant motion in linguistics, writing and the politics of writing, artistry, creativity, listening and reading, and so much more.

We invite you to join us on this journey of exploration and to discover the power of Movement as ……. in systemic practice. Let's come together and explore the landscapes of Edinburgh and find inspiration in the motions surrounding us.

ONLINE PRE-CONFERENCE

This year, we have organised a standalone online pre-conference, which will be held online only. It is a packed day with Movement as ……? activities throughout the day. We invite students, practitioners and colleagues to attend online.
