MOVE WITH YOU, WAIHĪ BEACH is back and bigger this year!🤝MOVE aims to bring friends and whānau in Waihī Beach together to get whakapakari tinana | moving to improve our overall health and wellbeing! It is aligned with Gumboot Friday, to support this crucial national initiative.
🏊♀️ This year we challenge you to achieve one of FOUR challenges in any way you like to move (walking, biking, running, paddling etc)
- Complete a marathon distance (42kms) OR
- Complete an iron man distance (226kms) OR
- Climb the Trig 25 times over the month OR
- 30 minutes of movement daily
🤸♂️This year we are offering MOVE events over the month - such as a Mud Walk and special hikes hosted by Echo Walking Festival to get you moving; and Gumboot Throwing on the beach to support Gumboot Friday. Check back here soon for details of these events!
🧢 The first 140 people to sign up will receive a FREE MOVE with You cap! Cap pick-up times will be posted later in the month. PLUS all participants will be in to win an Inflatable Stand-Up paddle board (drawn on final celebration day, must attend to go in draw)
🚴♀️You can participate individually or part of a team - add your team name on the google form. Each team member must sign up individually (to ensure they get their cap!)

📝You can track yourself or your team via our hard copy tracking sheets – which can be picked up with your cap. If you're in a team, one person can be in charge of your tracking sheet.
