MOVE WITH YOU, WAIHĪ BEACH is back and bigger this year!📝 More info / sign up below:
MOVE aims to bring friends and whānau in Waihī Beach together to get whakapakari tinana | moving to improve our overall health and wellbeing! It is aligned with Gumboot Friday, to support this crucial national initiative.
This year we challenge you to achieve one of THREE challenges in any way you like to move (walking, biking, running, paddling etc)
1) Complete a marathon distance (42kms) OR
2) Complete an iron man distance (226kms) OR
3) Climb the Trig 25 times over the month
Plus, this year we are adding free MOVE events such as beach yoga and special hikes hosted by @echowalkingfest to get you moving.
The first 120 people to sign up to this event will receive a free event t-shirt! (check this Facebook page for pick-up times later in September)
You can participate individual or part of a team - add your team name on this form. Each team member must sign up individually (to ensure they get their tshirt!)

Plan some outings to walk, bike, wheel, paddle - with friends or whānau over the next month. And make some time to catch up, listen to your friends, check-in with them ...
You can track yourself or your team via our hard copy tracking sheets – which can be picked up with your t-shirt. If you're in a team, one person can be in charge of your tracking sheet.

Post some photos of your adventures on your FB or Insta with hashtag #movewithyouwaihibeach or email them to [email protected] to try for your luck in winning spot prizes over the month.
Join us on Sunday 3 November at 2pm at Waihi Beach Surf Club to come together and celebrate with complimentary platter, music and spot prizes. More info to come!
