Discover how to make an adorable realistic Mouse and colourful felted acorns under the expert guidance of Cecily Kate, from Art Felt Fibres. Ideal for all abilities.You will be guided all the way through basic and intermediate felting skills, including how to use the needles, blend colours, sculpt and refine form.
You take home your adorable needle felted Mouse & Acorn plus the printed template so you can scale it down to make a perfectly proportioned mouse family, if you wish!
During this workshop you will learn:
- How to form the core mouse shape - a great skill for needle felting other small creatures
- How to wrap simple wire for your mouses's arms, feet and tail
- How to use a template to keep your mouse in proportion.
- How to needle felt layers of authentically coloured wool so you can breathe life into your mouse
- How to wet felt acorns
The Oast Studio is a wonderfully cosy place to spend an evening with friends, being creative and chatting the night away. To make things even better, Alison, from The Oast Bakery, will keep us fed and watered with her delicious home baked treats.
