Mountain lions are an enigma in New England, with this once native species now presumed extinct. But with recent sightings and accounts of close encounters, could it be that they are here?
Come enjoy a multimedia presentation about the history and presence of mountain lions in New England at Skyline Beer Company, 98 Southwick Rd, Westfield, MA on Wednesday, April 9th! The Southwick Land Trust is continuing its free lecture series with this presentation about the elusive eastern cougar, more commonly called the mountain lion, led by environmental writer and educator, Fran Ryan.
Skyline open @ 4 PM, this event starts @ 6 PM, and the presentation starts @ 6:30 PM. ALL AGES WELCOME!
Refreshments will be served, along with full-menu availability, including drinks, for ordering!

The Southwick Land Trust is a non-profit, non-governmental organization formed in 2024 by a group of volunteer town residents seeking to protect lands within the community of Southwick, Massachusetts. Its mission is to conserve important ecological, scenic, historical, and agricultural land and to promote appreciation of open space while providing accessible recreational opportunities for all, as well as to protect Southwick's rural heritage and its diverse ecology.
