This clinic is designed for emerging trail riders who may have limited experience riding singletrack, or for more experienced riders looking to solidify their fundamentals. We will hone in on the foundational skills of mountain biking to find more flow and comfort riding singletrack.This clinic can be paired with our Fundamentals I Clinic as a progression. This clinic is more focused on more advanced and dynamic skill work. Fundamentals II will take the next steps in building your confidence as a rider.
This clinic is designed for those who:
-Are comfortable on basic singletrack
-Have a basic understanding of their bike, and moving around the bike depending on terrain
-Are looking to become more dynamic on their bike
Skill Focus:
-Wheel lifts
-Advanced braking
-Balance skills
-Cornering foundations, downhill, and switchbacks
Clinic Dates:
-Thursday, August 1st; 5:30 - 7:30pm
-Thursday, August 15th; 5:30 - 7:30pm – Women’s Clinic*
-Additional date in September TBD
* We welcome all women — transgender and cisgender — as well as nonbinary people who identify with the women’s community. All Women's Clinic's led by Heidi Makoutz.
Cost: $80
