Jump skills clinic! Learn the fundamentals of how to Jump on a mountain bike by World Champion Anneke Beerten.
About this Event

Join Anneke Beerten and Nate Renner for a 3-hour jump-focused clinic designed to help you build confidence and elevate your airtime in a safe, progressive environment.

Whether you’re a beginner ready to hit your first jump or an experienced rider looking to improve your takeoff, landings, and flow—this session will give you the tools and techniques you need to progress. We’ll use Bentonville’s new Slaughter Pen Skills Park and All American Hero jumps, both designed with progressive features perfect for skill development.

Anneke and Nate will break down jumping step-by-step, helping you understand the "how" and "why" behind each movement, with plenty of hands-on support and video feedback throughout the clinic.



What You’ll Learn:

✅ Proper body position and technique for safe takeoffs and landings✅ How to generate lift and momentum through pumping and timing✅ How to approach jumps with control and confidence✅ Tools to improve flow, pop, and air awareness✅ Small group sizes for focused instruction✅ Personalized video feedback during the session



Meet Your Coaches:

Anneke Beerten is a retired professional mountain bike racer and now full-time coach with decades of high-level riding experience. Anneke’s coaching is rooted in her race background, but designed for everyday riders looking to improve, stay safe, and have more fun on the bike.

Nate Renner is a full-time trail builder at Coler MTB Preserve and a highly skilled rider with deep roots in BMX, dirt biking, and MTB. Nate’s smooth, stylish riding brings a visual learning element to the clinic—you’ll see it in action and learn how to apply it yourself.

📍 Slaughter Pen Skills Park & All-American Hero Jumps – Bentonville, ARLook for the Crank It Up MTB tent near the bathrooms at the skills park.



General Info:
  • Skill Level: Novice to intermediate riders. You should be confident on green and some blue trails.
  • Age: 18+, or 15+ with a participating adult.
  • Equipment Required:
    • A well-maintained mountain bike (e-bikes welcome)
    • Helmet (mandatory)
    • Gloves, knee and elbow pads (recommended)


🚲 Rental Bike:

If you need a rental bike, I can offer you a 50% discount through Specialized at Gearhead in Bentonville on an E-bike. Just let me know, and I’ll get you set up with a sweet Specialized Ride!



Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the clinic to receive a full refund. No-shows or late cancellations are non-refundable due to limited spots and high demand.



Weather & Participation Minimums:
  • In case of inclement weather, the clinic will be rescheduled or canceled. You’ll receive a full refund or credit toward another session.
  • A minimum of 4 participants is required. If this is not met, the clinic will be canceled and fully refunded.

Anneke has a huge amount of experience when it comes to riding Bikes. She started racing BMX at the age of 4, won 3 World Championships titles and loves to share her passion for cycling with the rest of the world!
