Jump & Drop skills clinic! Learn the fundamentals of how to jump and do a small drop on a mountain bike by World Champion Anneke Beerten.
About this Event

This 3 hour course will help you learn the basic fundamentals of how to jump and do drops. Anneke will explain the process of jumping, how to build confidence while getting air in a safe way, enhancing your airtime and improving overall bike skills. Bentonville has a brand new skills park with progressive drops, and this is perfect to learn how to do small drops and build that confidence. In this clinic will combine the fundametnals of jumping an doing drops. Anneke and assisting coach Nate will help you progress on both of these areas!

Expect to:

- Discover the step-by-step processes of jumping and drops.

- Explore techniques to create more momentum on the jumps and trails.

- Learn the skills that will make jumping and doing drops manageable and safe.

- Small group sizes to ensure an optimal learning environment.

- Individual video analysis during session.

- Have a progressive experience that will elevate your tool kit of skills to take onto the trails.

About your coaches:

Retired pro athlete and now full time coach Anneke Beerten will be hosting this clinic. Anneke's background in riding and racing will help you learn everything you need to know in becoming a good and safe rider! She will help you guide through the 'how to' steps!

Coach Nate Renner is a full time trail builder at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, and in his off time you can find him on his bike in the skills park doing jumps and tricks. Nate grew up riding bicycles and dirtbikes, and has a phenomenal style on the bike. You'll see it for yourself at the clinic!

LOCATION: This clinic will be held at Slaughter Pen and the trails we will be practicing on will be; Slaughter Pen skills park and All American Hero jumps. This clinic will requere an novice / intermediate skills level and riding experiance. The Crank it up MTB tent will be setup by the bathrooms at the Slaughter Pen skills park.

General information:

REQUIRED SKILLS: Rider should be comfortable with riding green and some blue trails. This clinic requires using multiple fundamental skills at once.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED / RECOMMENDED: Mountain bike in good working order, E-Bikes are welcome, helmet is mandatory, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads are recommended.

AGE: Riders of 18 years and older, or 15 years and older, accompanied by an adult.

In the event of inclement weather, we will postpone or cancel the clinic and issue a refund or transfer credit to another clinic.

If the clinic registration does not reach a minimum of 4 participants the clinic is subject to cancellation and you will be fully refunded.

Anneke has a huge amount of experience when it comes to riding Bikes. She started racing BMX at the age of 4, won 3 World Championships titles and loves to share her passion for cycling with the rest of the world!
