Join our Mountain Bike and Meditation trip - there's gonna be mountain biking, meditation, fun ways of getting your inner peace on, sharing silly life stories together, and exploring Vermont!
My name's Alaska and I started hosting mindful ski trips to meet new people this season after getting trained as a professional yoga/meditation instructor - it's been really fun.
It’ll be a weekend of peaceful activities that feel effortless and just as fun as hanging out at your best friend's apartment!
Come alone or with a friend to hang out, this is a friendly, casual and super chill, inclusive environment.

Retreat Overview
This retreat will kick off in Boston with a carpool together to Killington, Vermont [about a 3 hour drive]. We'll arrange carpooling ahead of time so everyone has a ride/people to split gas costs with. We'll leave Boston after work Friday [around 3pm] to ensure the timing works for everyone (we'll use a groupchat to find a specific time that works for everyone, so we could certainly leave earlier if people are free). Most people either take a half day or leave work a little early on Friday.
Show up without any level of experience needed and have a great time! Your ticket includes everything you will need for a good time:
- Lodging for 2 nights [Friday and Saturday night] at a spacious Airbnb, about 30 minutes from Killington Vermont. Everyone will have their own real bed - no arguing over who has to take the sofa bed!
- Restorative, fun/easy mindfulness & meditation practices led by a certified yoga/meditation instructor
- Mountain biking! Beginner package with a 2 hour professional lesson, rental bike/protective gear and lift ticket for 1 day
- Surprises + a good sense of humor
- Delicious snacks/hors d'oeuvres at the Airbnb are included, but meals from restaurants will be at your own cost
- Come back to Boston refreshed and restored, ready for the next chapter of your life

Ticket Options:
Retreat with Beginner Package: Includes lodging, meditation classes, snacks + beginner package [2 hour professional lesson, rental bike/protective gear and lift ticket for 1 day]
Retreat WITHOUT beginner package: Includes everything except the beginner package. This option is ideal if you don't need all 3 of those things in the bundle [lesson, rental bike and lift ticket] and only need 1 or 2 of them - you will be responsible for purchasing whatever you need directly from Killington.

Retreat Schedule [subject to change]
Friday night: arrive at Airbnb around 7pm, grab dinner at a local restaurant [restaurant dinner is at your own cost] and chill/optional meditation
Saturday during the day: Mountain Biking Day at Killington! Choose to do the beginner group lesson together, or skip the lesson if you don't need it and join us in the afternoon for a group bike!
Saturday evening: Meditation class + hors d'oeuvres at the Airbnb + dinner at a local restaurant [restaurant dinner is at your own cost], followed by hanging out and sharing life stories with new friends
Sunday: Lowkey, short easy hike + outdoor meditation [1.5 hours or less] + explore the surrounding towns/restaurants/distilleries/shops/ice cream places + head back to Boston in the afternoon

Please be prepared to chip in for gas for your carpool driver, and be responsible for all other personal costs [ie restaurant meals that aren't covered by your ticket].
This retreat welcomes all skill levels - no specific level of meditation/mountain biking experience needed to join! The vibe is laidback, silly, meaningful and chill, and meditative [without the "work" of meditating].

Lodging Options - you can pick from these upon checkout:
1. **Private Room:** Available for a $50 upcharge, has a full sized bed, ensuring personal space and privacy. Each private room fits 1 person.
2. **Shared Room:** No extra charge. Each shared room fits 2 people and has 2 twin beds, assigned randomly. We will try to match roommates by gender but cannot guarantee it. If you are unwilling to share with all genders, please select the private room option.

This experience is hosted by Peace Out Ski Club, a skiing and inner peace club for Boston millennials looking for an easy, fun way to unwind and feel more alive every day. We're freshly baked [a new small business!] and are excited to meet you.
