Join us to support the health of the communities’ tree canopy by lending a hand! Mount Vernon and Midtown Community Benefits District.Join us to support the health of the communities’ tree canopy by lending a hand! Mount Vernon-Belvedere Association and Midtown are co-hosting a volunteer tree planting event from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday , October 28 t h. There will be trained tree keepers on staff to provide direction and tools provided for planting. Volunteers will meet across from Baby's on Fire at 1010 Morton St . and split into teams, and complete plantings throughout the neighborhood. No experience is necessary to participate, and all are welcome!
