Thanks to the Superior Public Museums we will be doing the first Annual Motorcycles at the Meteor Ride-In & Show. The Meteor is located at the scenic Barkers Island in Superior WI at the corner or HWY 2 and Belknap St. You cannot miss it from there, just follow the signs.
This will be a Free Will Donation event. All donations will be earmarked for upgrades we have planned for the ship.
All ride-ins will have free access to the Meteor’s cargo hold display area where the bikes will be. Tours of the Meteor will be at the standard rate. The tour is a guided tour and takes you through the whole ship including the engine room. If you are planning to do this, I would book on line for the tour ASAP we can only handle 20 people per tour. Each tour is 1 hour and start on the half hour.
We are hoping to have a nice selection of vintage motorcycles inside the Meteor and a reserved parking lot for ride ins.
If you wish to have your bike on display inside the Meteor, please message me, Mark Booth, and I will get you a reserved spot. I think I can fit up to 30 motorcycles inside the Meteor’s cargo hold display area for the Ride-Ins to enjoy. If you are coming in the day before or earlier and staying at a local hotel, I can meet you at the Meteor at your convenience to get them in the ship and ready for the show.
I will update the Group Page as I get more info. We are hoping to get Earth Rider Brewery to come and serve beer.
We will have a food truck to be determined.
Non-alcoholic drinks will be served at the bar located in the Meteor’s bar. But there will be a cost for these items. We may have snacks for you also.
We are hoping to get donations/door prizes from local venders as prizes.
Bottom line we are trying to get a Ride-In Show where the people that come will have a great time.
