Join us this Giving Tuesday for Motley Zoo's 'Rock the Rescue' Virtual 5K Race—a rock 'n' roll themed event where every stride saves lives! Lace up, rock out, and help us rescue animals in need by participating in this exciting race. Your involvement directly supports our volunteer-powered, foster-based, no-K*ll rescue dedicated to ending animal suffering. Together, we'll promote responsible pet ownership, advocate for spay/neuter practices, and combat pet overpopulation. Unite with us to end neglect and abuse—every step makes a difference!
About the Event
Motley Zoo Animal Rescue has been passionately serving our community since 2009 as a volunteer-powered, foster-based, no-K*ll rescue. With over 4,500 animals rescued and rehomed and an incredible 99% live release rate, we are dedicated to improving the lives of animals locally and beyond.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need, while advocating for responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter practices to end pet overpopulation. We strive to alleviate animal suffering, elevate their status in society, and end neglect and abuse.

By participating in our "Rock the Rescue" Virtual 5K Race, you're not just joining a race—you're becoming a hero for animals in need. Lace up, rock out, and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000! We aim to engage:
Teams of 5 to each raise $1,000
Or individuals to raise $100 each
Your involvement directly supports our mission and makes a tangible impact on the lives of animals. Together, we'll make strides—both literally and figuratively—toward a world where every animal has a loving home.

How It Works
- Choose Your Activity: Run, walk, or cycle a 5K (3.1 miles) at your own pace and in your preferred location.
- Pick Your Date: Complete your 5K anytime between November 22nd and December 8th.
- Register: Sign up individually or create/join a team. Suggested minimum donation of $30 per participant.
- Fundraise: Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to support your effort by donating to your fundraising page. Aim for or exceed the $1,000 fundraising goal!
- Share Your Journey: Use our event hashtags #RockTheRescue5K and #Motleymoo5k to share photos and updates on social media.
