About Bug Heaven
Bug Heaven hails from Omaha, Nebraska and is comprised of longtime friends and occasionally former bandmates Drew Shuck, Alex Brown, Drew Augustine, Kelly Langin, and Austin Elsberry. Led by Shuck’s emotionally charged vocals & lyrics, the band draws influence from all corners of the emo-verse with crunchy rhythm guitars, twinkly leads, layered synthesizers, and a thunderous rhythm section. “Emo” can be a loaded term, but think more Jawbreaker than Avril Lavigne, yet more Jimmy Eat World than Jawbreaker. Lyrically heavy and sonically upbeat, the infectious melodies of Bug Heaven’s debut, We Love to Live in Hell, are apt to have you both singing & dancing along at the gig and calling your mom crying on the ride home.
