About this Event
Discover the exciting world of single origin chocolate with Mom! Join pastry & chocolate aficionado Liz Stevenson this Mother's Day at JoieFarm Winery as you taste your way through carefully curated samples of the world's finest bars. You’ll be greeted with a glass of bubbles on arrival before working your way through a warm and reviving cup of cocoa nib tea, followed by five chocolates and two wine pairings.
If that doesn’t already sound tempting enough, you’ll have the option to take home a box of expertly crafted chocolate made by Liz herself!
The Joie tasting & sales room will also be open in case you’d like to sample some delicious wines afterward.
Due to anticipated demand, we’re offering two seatings for this event at 11:30-1pm and 2-3:30pm. The tastings are limited to 20 fortunate guests each.
A note from Liz: This casual, interactive workshop offers a unique opportunity for chocolate enthusiasts of all levels. As we taste our way through chocolate from dark to milk, we’ll examine the look & feel, aroma, mouthfeel and flavour of each one, using a tasting mat and flavour guide. We’ll also delve in to a brief history of chocolate making, tree varietals and current challenges facing the industry. Whether you’re seeking to unravel the complexities of chocolate terminology or are simply a devoted chocolate lover, this experience promises to elevate your tasting game!
