Welcome to our Mother's Day sensory class where you will learn how to make your own unique candle! What a perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day with your mom. You will be able to design your own scents, combine oils, wick your vessels, pour the wax, and design your own labels. This experience is a great way to awaken your senses and explore your creativity.After the candle making, you will participate in a sensory class where you will work on your memory associated with scent while your candle cools. You will blind smell multiple nostalgic scents and try to identify what you smell to gain an idea of how good your memory is associated with smell. This activity is so much fun as it challenges you to identify smells without relying on memories. We will also discuss ways you can improve your sense of smell beyond the classroom.
Throughout the class, you will be able to sip on wine or coffee and snack on charcuterie. You will take your candle home with you after class as well as your newfound knowledge on your sense of smell. This class is perfect for anyone who loves candles and wants to learn more about their sense of smell. We can't wait to see you there!
