About this Event
Our museums are changing, but mothers are still too often only seen as caregivers. This creative, art-based workshop invited mothers and caregivers to step into the frame: to reflect, express and reimagine how museums can better see and support them.
What we'll do
We'll create a collaborative poem from words found in the museum and design self-portraits of your "Everyday me" and "Museum me". Then, together, we'll build a mini "Ideal Museum" model to share our vision for change.
No artistic skills required! Just your voice, your story and your imagination!
This workshop is for mothers and caregivers. Children are welcome to attend with their caregiver, there will be a children's corner and they can join any part of the workshop.
