About this Event
Historic Savannah Foundation and the Davenport House Museum present the Artisan Spotlight Series. The popular series offers engaging, hands-on events at Historic Kennedy Ph*rm*cy and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
This May, Salacia Salts — a Savannah, Ga. company whose high-quality, environmentally responsible bath and beauty products have been featured in Vogue, Southern Living and Garden & Gun — will share the benefits of natural skincare products and lead a body scrub making workshop. Participants will select from a variety of exfoliants and Southern botanicals to craft a custom scrub and hand-mix a fragrance of their choice, creating a seven-ounce jar to take home. This immersive workshop is the perfect way to honor Mom, either as a memorable shared experience or to create a special scrub just for her. The cost of this workshop includes scrub-making materials.
Space is limited. Advance registration is required. To register, please visit davenporthousemuseum.org/programs-events.
