About this Event
In celebration of mother's day, ENGAJ is hosting an extra special mah jongg workshop. Jewish young adults interested in learning American-style mah jongg, or are already familiar with the game, come play, and bring your mom or bubbe too! (We follow the National Mah Jongg League rule book).
Come schmooze at 10:30am at the JCC Cafe and enjoy coffee, juice, mimosas, and breakfast pastries. (Gluten-free muffins as well) At 11am, we'll get the tiles moving with a beginner's lesson. Intermediate/advanced players can begin playing as well.
We'll provide up to 4 Mah Jongg cards and one set. If you have your own card and set, we encourage you to bring yours as well. Everyone gets a special party favor too!
General tickets are $10. Moms get a comp ticket!
