About this Event

Take Mom birding for Mother’s Day!

This is a good trip to get beginners hooked on some of the most beautiful birds in southern Idaho. Expect Orioles, Tanagers Buntings and Warblers, Oh My!

Golden Eagle Audubon will have binoculars available. Please preregister if possible but last minute drop-ins are acceptable. We are not limiting the numbers or ages on this adventure.

Meet at Discovery Unit in Lucky Peak State Park at 9:00am. Note that there is a $7 day use fee if you do not have an annual state park vehicle pass. This trip is wheelchair accessible. Restrooms available.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable closed-toed walking shoes. Bring water. Parent or guardian must sign the waiver for participants under 18 years old. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
