In collaboration with the Sounds of St. James, Trobár presents "Mothers and Sisters of the Veil". Trobár is a small band of voices and instruments dedicated to bringing medieval music to modern audiences. Their mission is to explore the human experience as viewed through the music and stories of medieval peoples. "Mothers and Sisters of the Veil" explores the lives of medieval nuns through their spiritual familial experience, with repertoire drawing from both Western Catholic and Byzantine Orthodox traditions of chant. Join us and be immersed in the transcendent beauty of chant! It is a musical experience like no other.
