Fabiana Rodrigues (@fabianab.rodrigues) is a Vancouver-based Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and mother of three school-aged children, Fabiana’s own intense postpartum journey inspired her to dedicate her work to guiding families through the early weeks with confidence and calm. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and multiple childbirth-related certifications, she is the founder of Alongside Doula Care (@alongsidedoula) through which she has supported over 300 families in-person and virtually, with a special focus on immigrant and multicultural families navigating birth and postpartum away from home.

Latin American Heritage Month (LAHM) Festival is an annual celebration in Vancouver that highlights the rich cultural diversity, traditions, and contributions of Latin American communities. Organized by , a non-profit that connects Latin American and Canadian cultures, the festival runs from the middle of October to the beginning of November and features a variety of activities, including music, dance performances, film screenings, art exhibitions, and culinary experiences.
