About this Event
Join us at Seven Bro7hers in Ancoats to celebrate your mum on this special day by joining in on our Mother’s Day special. We will be making our own mugs (you could make one for each other!) and also we will be taking Polaroid pictures of you both and making miniature frames for them for a lasting memory of this special day.
No experience is needed and everything is provided.
You can enjoy a drink (alcoholic or soft) whilst you create your clay masterpiece and choose afterwards if you want to stay to enjoy Seven Bro7hers new food menu.
Seven Bro7hers is dog friendly so feel free to bring your furry friend along (only if they are friendly with others and well behaved as we don’t want any problems to occur).
Workshop timeline
1:50pm: people start to arrive and settle in, during this time you can buy yourself a drink of choice at the bar and make your way downstairs to the venue.
2pm: the workshop will begin, Nina will start to explain step by step how to make your mug or jug. There are no allocated breaks during the session, however feel free at any point to go grab another drink or take some fresh air, if you have missed anything Nina will catch you up.
3:55pm: the workshop is now coming to an end and you can start thinking of which glaze you would like to use to decorate your piece. You can choose one glaze, you will be asked to make note of the glaze number on the bottom of the test tile, provide your name and phone number. You can leave your clay piece behind with the required information and go grab yourself some lunch upstairs if you want!
Collection (or delivery) of work: collection of ceramic pieces will be from Hope Mill in Ancoats (M4 7JA). The ceramic pieces will take approximately 2-3 weeks to be fired and glazed and ready for collection (give or take). If delivery is required please let us know after the session and for an aditional cost we can organise delivery.
