Experience the vibrant Pola festivities in a traditional village setting. Begin by traveling to the village to witness and participate in the celebrations. Watch as farmers and caretakers bathe and adorn their bulls with colorful decorations, paint their horns, and decorate them with ornaments. Enjoy a local lunch in the village and then partake in the puja and worship ceremonies, where the bulls are honored with aarti, kumkum, and haldi. Witness the unique tradition of laborers performing the rituals instead of brahmin priests. A second puja is held after the village bulls gather in the evening, followed by feeding them a special meal of puran, jaggery and other things they like.
Enjoy high tea before the grand procession of the decorated bulls through the village streets. Conclude the day by returning to Nagpur in the evening.
