Join us for the Moth Ball, a fabulous nighttime lightsheeting event hosted at Earthplace by moth experts Victor DeMasi and Lukas Keras! 🐛🦋🔦
Get ready to don your best moth costume and meet in the Picnic Grove for delicious moth-themed cocktails (nicknamed "mothtails") and mocktails.
We will then venture to 2-3 outdoor viewing areas for lightsheeting, also known as “mothing,” which involves setting up a light and providing a surface for moths and other flying insects to land on. 🪲
Our hosts will be on hand to share insights about the moth species present in the Earthplace sanctuary.
