Like trivia? Like orienteering? Like a nice casual cruise? Then join us for a fun filled day. For over twenty years, Motafrenz has presented this great annual Midsumma event.Gather some friends to share the fun. You may need many eyes to help with the questions en-route. Come along to this most enjoyable drive along highways and byways to a gorgeous secret lunch spot. Use your best navigation, observation and problem-solving skills along the way. Pack a picnic lunch or pick up a little something from one of the many great places we stop at along the way. Relax and catch up with Motafrenz.
The route is classic-car friendly. Be sure to bring your togs as there may be an opportunity for a swim at the final destination!
Prizes for highest scores, wooden spooners and most fabulous picnic spread!
Proceeds from this event will be used to support the Club’s philanthropic endeavours.
ITINERARY
Pre-meet by 9:45
Briefing at 10:00am
Head off on your adventure by 10:15am
Finish line and lunch by 12:45pm
BRING: Family, friends, enemies, and arch-rivals to help you navigate. You might also bring an old-fashioned map to help you along the way. A picnic lunch (if you’re not buying something on the way), drinks, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, chair and picnic blanket should you choose to dine in style. We cannot guarantee the availability of BBQs, so bring food ready-to-eat. BYO Drinks.
PETS: We suggest no pets. Pets may not be allowed at some points along the way.
