This intimate and dynamic program highlights the expressive evolution of the symphony during the Classical era, featuring works by Joseph Haydn, Johann Baptist Vanhal, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.The concert features Haydn’s Symphony No. 44 (“Trauer”), a hallmark of the composer’s emotionally charged Sturm und Drang style; Vanhal’s Symphony in C Minor, a strikingly dramatic and rarely heard gem of 18th-century Vienna; and Mozart’s Symphony No. 29, a masterpiece of clarity, grace, and youthful brilliance.
The performance will be held at the Clark County Library Theater located at 1401 E. Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV. Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for students. Children under 12 receive free admission.
