Boulder Ecstatic Dance & Reciprocity Music present - Road to Unison Festival: Cacao Dance W/ MoseMose is coming back to Colorado (He grew up in Fort Collins) to be with his family for a special wedding. This is an exciting event in that many family and friends from the wedding will be joining us!! This is his first time playing in Boulder since 2017!
Boulder Ecstatic Dance Co-founder Bloomurian will kick off the evening. Mose's partner Bruna Bortolato will be bringing the magic and heart medicine of cacao from Guatemala, where Mose and Bruna are based out of. Mose's 2 hour dance set will be support by Matia Kalli, who brings the medicine of devotional music, sacred healing songs, mantras and chants, and is featured on a multitude of Mose's music.

About Cacao Dance:
Welcome to the transformative realm of Cacao Dance. As you step onto the dance floor, embrace the intentional container that encourages silence, creating a sacred space for a deep and immersive journey. The ceremony preceding the dance is led by the beautiful Bruna Bortolato alongside Mose, invoking intention, gratitude, and prayer. This ceremonial prelude lays the groundwork for a profound and spiritually charged dance experience.
Cacao Dance is more than just movement; it's a conscious exploration to connect with oneself and community. The dance unfolds with a deliberate arc, starting slow and spacious, allowing participants to attune to the music and let their bodies intuitively guide their movements. The overarching goal is to transcend the mental chatter, diving deep into the heart, embodying the emotions alive in the present moment. The dance reaches a climactic peak, pulsating with full-power energy before gracefully winding down to a slower, softer pace for integration.
This alcohol-free container draws inspiration from ancient shamanic practices of entering trance, offering a space for profound insight and personal evolution. The intention is clear: to foster a connection with oneself, community, nature, and spirit in support of the greater collective evolution. This is an all ages event, but we ask that you do not bring any young ones who do not want to be there. That parents are taking FULL responsibility and tracking their young ones throughout the night. Including protecting their ears if need be! Only bring little ones that will benefit from joining you in this experience. Ages 12 and older must have a ticket.

About MOSE:
Mose is based in Guatemala where cacao ceremonies and ecstatic dance have had a major influence on his productions and DJ style. It is here that he founded regular cacao dances where members of the community have the opportunity to journey deep into dance while held in a ceremonial container, free of alcohol.
Beyond the multicultural rhythms and the steady hypnotic beat, Mose weaves ephemeral chanting of sacred songs and calls to love, kindness and compassion, often bringing in live musicians to create something improvisational connected with that particular place and time. He creates with the intention to set a foundation for self discovery and the cultivation of a present minded state which offers new insights and deeper clarity in one's purpose.
When he is not touring the world or playing these special events in Guatemala, he spends his time going into extended periods of retreat and silence, only to emerge with a deeper, truer and more refined sound. He also supports other emerging artists through his record label Resueño with an intention to bring resonant souls together to create music that uplifts and inspires. The label transcends any particular cultural aesthetic and explores a universal vibration through weaving sounds and languages from around the world. It is also a vehicle for social causes as 50% of all label profits are donated to causes around the world to help those most in need.
About Bloomurian:
Bloomurian is the electronic music & DJ project of Robin Liepman (Bloom), originally from California, and currently Colorado based. Bloomurian’s style ranges from Ecstatic Dance, World Bass, Trip-Hop, Glitchy, Psy-Dub, & Trap, to face-melting, heart-opening, soul-awakening multidimensional frequencies.
Bloomurian DJs ecstatic dances, concerts, festivals, and retreats worldwide, weaving original tracks, collaborations, remixes, and tasteful selections, into a rich tapestry of sonic alchemy, always tuning in to the ideal vibe for each particular event and audience. He often plays electric guitar and his shovel slide-guitar during his sets, and has live instrumentalists and vocalists join him on stage.
Bloomurian reads the energy of the moment and steers the spaceship in the direction most conducive to ecstatic states of awakening and embodied movement medicine. The vibe can get down dark and dirty, light vibrant and uplifting, psychedelic, transformational, and worldly, depending on the frequency of the moment.
NO ALCOHOL EVENT
In alignment with our intention to create a pure and vibrant space, the cacao dance is a no-alcohol event. Embrace the freedom to dance and connect without the influence of alcohol, allowing the energy of the night to flow organically.

NO SMOKING/VAPING INSIDE VENUE, OR BY FRONT DOOR
The Avalon Ballroom is a community space where other events are happening in other rooms of the space at the same time. Please be respectful of this community space. If you are to smoke, please do so at the picnic tables on the west side of the building (left side of building when facing entrance). If you are found smoking inside the venue you will be removed from the event.
REFUND POLICY
- There are no refunds for any reason.
- Tickets are transferable to another person. The original ticket buyer must send their QR code to the new ticket buyer, and exchange money amongst themsevles. Make sure new ticket buyer has the name of the original ticket buyer when checking in.
- We will not be able to respond to any questions about ticketing or participation during the 24 hours before the start of the event.
