About this Event
Idaho lawmakers recently passed a $50 million program that uses tax dollars to fund private school tuition. Some lawmakers want to see the program expanded to $339 million a year, amounting to over $3 billion in taxpayer funds over the next decade.
Join Save Our Schools Idaho for a Town Hall discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the 1912 Center to hear about the harms of expanding this program.
The conversation will be moderated by Director of Public Policy for the Idaho PTA, Alexis Morgan. Panelists include Moscow Middle School teacher Cyndi Faircloth, Moscow Charter School Board Chair Leslie Baker, and Former Fruitland School District Superintendent and Save Our Schools Idaho Board member Teresa Fabricius.
Attendees can submit questions for our panelists ahead of time or at the event. This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to let us know you can make it.
*The leaders and elected officials serving as panelists will speak only on their own behalf and not on behalf of their districts or their organizations. Event locations are gathering places, not sponsors or demonstrating support of views express during the Town Halls.
