ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: In this workshop, you will make a decor piece using the art of mosaic! The best part is that we repurpose vintage china, dishes, and serving ware. Feel free to bring your own to class!
No prior experience is needed. This beginner-friendly workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning new skills and creating their very own work of art!
In this workshop, your instructor will lead as you learn:
How to begin a mosaic piece, including an overview of necessary materials.
How to upcycle broken china for mosaic - cutting it to fit
How to select and work with texture and pattern to create movement and interest
How to lay out small pieces to make a work of art
Leave with a finished piece and the know-how to design and create more pieces on your own.
Class fee ($49) includes instruction and all the necessary supplies and materials.
