The morning Mosaic Class we will use salvaged / reclaimed wood to create a beautiful art work. We will discuss during the workshop the basics of mosaic - from design and colour, to cutting and grouting. You will be making use of already cut tiles for your project.
A demonstration and explanation will be given on how to cut and which cutters to use for which tiles. The basics of mosaic techniques will be explained, including the direct method.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO CREATE?
Using reclaimed wood you will create your beautiful art work.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE WORKSHOPS: The price includes two pieces of reclaimed wood, grout for grouting and the use of all the tools in the studio to complete your project. You buy the tiles and inserts you want to use at less 10% and take home whatever is left. Complimentary tea and coffee station.
